If you research Colloidal Silver or Ionic Silver on the internet, sooner or later you will see Paul Karason aka “The Blue Man”. He was given this name by the media for fairly obvious reasons.

It was claimed that he was taking Colloidal Silver; I believe this was a deliberate move in order to scare the public away from using it; however, the dis-information is rumoured to have been produced by a PR firm paid for by big pharma.

They claimed his condition was caused by taking Colloidal Silver, however; this is ridiculous. Paul Karason’s condition was caused by Argyria; a condition that turns the skin into a blue/grey colour.

What they didn’t say was that Paul was making his own very amateurish version of colloidal silver and made a very stupid mistake by adding salt to solution as a catalyst to reduce the time taken to produce his homemade silver solution.

Paul was unaware that salt or any other additives for that matter should not be incorporated into the “electrolysis” process. Adding salt decreased the time taken to create a silver solution; however, unwittingly he created a completely different compound called silver chloride.

This compound, when taken in very large quantities as Paul demonstrated has been shown to cause a harmless but undesirable (unless you desire to look like a Smurf) skin discolouration condition called “Argyria.” Paul’s condition is the result of years of ingesting extremely high doses of silver chloride and was not an overnight transformation.

SILVER CHLORIDE IS IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM THE SAME AS PURE COLLOIDAL SILVER AND/OR IONIC SILVER.

Summary

When considering the details and facts surrounding Paul Karason’s unfortunate situation; I would like to re-emphasize that no cases of Argyria have EVER been and NEVER will be linked to properly produced colloidal silver or ionic silver! If you do have any questions please Contact Us.
